Each participating school will receive a package of support, including:

Family Maths scrapbooks and activities for all pupils

Staff training and support from a parental engagement expert

Becoming a Numeracy Champion training for school champions working with parents

Termly online cluster meetings with other participating schools, led by National Numeracy

Access to the National Numeracy Challenge website for all staff and parents

One workshop offered to parents to explore their own attitudes around maths and support them in helping their children build positive attitudes to maths
-
Materials to communicate with parents about the project (eg. template letters home, social media posts etc)
Applications are open to all primary schools in the UK, but we are particularly interested in hearing from schools who have a high percentage of pupils eligible for free school meals or from SIMDQ1-3 in Scotland, and schools from the following areas:

There are currently 18 places available for primary schools on our parental engagement programme, so please fill in the application form if you’re interested in taking part or get in contact if you’d like any further information.
