Rotimi said: “I am thrilled to be joining National Numeracy as its newest ambassador. Number confidence and money management are at the heart of everything I have done for the past two years through my financial education platform, Mr MoneyJar. I look forward to working with the charity to spread numeracy and number positivity to the communities who stand to benefit from it most."
Sam Sims, Chief Executive of National Numeracy welcomes Rotimi to the team: “Rotimi's knack for making the, sometimes scary, world of finance accessible, relatable and fun is a great match for what we are trying to do here at National Numeracy.
“We believe that having the number confidence and skills to feel in control of your finances is within everyone’s grasp. It takes a bit of practice and the right support, but we know from the thousands of people we support, not only can it be achieved, but it can also be transformational. We are delighted that Rotimi will be helping us get that message across, making a real difference to people’s lives.”
Rotimi joins our fantastic celebrity Ambassadors, Rachel Riley, Martin Lewis and Bobby Seagull, Katya Jones, Peter Sawkins and Harry Baker who all freely give their time and energy to help the adults and children in the UK get on with numbers so they can get on in life.
During Number Confidence Week, 1-5 November, Rotimi will be taking part in our ‘Confidence Conversations’ video series that will see experts, celebrities and people who have improved their numeracy lift the lid on how to gain the number confidence you need to help with different parts of your life.
