Volunteer of the Month

To announce our first ever Volunteer of the Month, this post comes from Laura Hill our Volunteering Manager

Over the last year volunteers from our corporate partners have mobilised to support children across the UK to see the value of maths in the real world.

Our amazing volunteers have reached over 9000 children by delivering assemblies and assisting class lessons; directly supporting communities to develop the building blocks of social mobility and scaling up the impact, reach and sustainability of our ongoing work.

We’re so proud of what our volunteers achieve in not only inspiring children but also developing and showcasing their own skills too. We're now thrilled to be starting ‘Volunteer of the Month’, as a thank you to our volunteers that have gone above and beyond to give back to their community.

We’re pleased to announce that our first ever Volunteer of the Month for October 2023 is Cath Hancock, Paralegal at Capital One UK. Cath has now volunteered in three schools in Nottingham with her most recent visit being to Archbishop Cramer CE Primary School. Thank you Cath, you’re a star!
